Apostles bestowing the Holy Spirit

At PRIME V. O God, make speed to save me. R. O Lord, make haste to help me. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen.

Hymn Come, Holy Ghost, Creator, come From thy bright heav'nly throne; Come, take possession of our souls, And make them all thine own. Thou who art called the Paraclete, Best gift of God above, The living spring, the living fire, Sweet unction and true love. Thou who art sevenfold in thy grace, Finger of God's right hand; His promise, teaching little ones To speak and understand. O guide our minds with thy blest light, With love our hearts inflame; And with thy strength, which ne'er decays, Confirm our mortal frame. Far from us drive our deadly foe; True peace unto us bring; And through all perils lead us safe Beneath thy sacred wing. Through thee may we the Father know, Through thee th'eternal Son, And thee the Spirit of them both, Thrice-blessed three in One. To God the Father, God the Son And God the Spirit, praise be done; And Christ the Lord upon us pour The Spirit's gift forever more. Amen.

Ant. Come, reviving Spirit. Ps. 15 LORD, who may dwell in your tabernacle? who may abide upon your holy hill? Whoever leads a blameless life and does what is right, who speaks the truth from his heart. There is no guile upon his tongue; he does no evil to his friend; he does not heap contempt upon his neighbor. In his sight the wicked is rejected, but he honors those who fear the LORD. He has sworn to do no wrong and does not take back his word. He does not give his money in hope of gain, nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things shall never be overthrown. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen. Ant. Come, reviving Spirit, Paraclete of orphans; come and teach the children of the church to adore God, Three in One, in spirit and truth. Alleluia.

Chapter Three there are who testify concerning the Lord in heaven: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are one. Thanks be to God. V. Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on us. R. Through the grace of the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete, have mercy upon us. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. V. Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on us.

V. Rise up, O Lord, and aid us. R. And save us for the sake of your name. Let us pray: O God who so loved the world that you gave up your Son for our redemption: Grant that your Spirit may lead us and teach to all the way of truth; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
